Hey guys! So, for my class this week we had an assignment to make a short video with some clips provided in order to get familiar with the process and using Primere Pro. So, here is some of my thoughts throughout working!

My Experience:
Creating The Clip
Creating this clip was genuinely very fun. I loved the process of watching the raw footage, seeing how I would want them to be put together, and actually being able to bring it to life. It was like finally living tint me's dream and making a little movie, even if it was a short clip.
Challenges And Success
I think my hardest struggle was just getting started. There was so much raw footage that I did a lot of back and forth with clips to see which I liked more and if I wanted to use them at all. It was honestly very intimidating to open the import panel and just see the plethora or clips sitting there for me to use. It made it pretty hard to start even though I had ideas for how I would want to continue. However once I got started, that issue quickly vanished. I would come up on parts where I knew a certain clip would be perfect and it made it all the more satisfying to immediately go and find it.
While creating this clip, I learned a lot of things. The biggest being that trial and error will be necessary to completing a clip. Even when I thought I had it all fully mapped out in my head, I quickly realized when things just wouldn't work and had to retry. Although humbling at first, it was a nice lesson that I'm thankful I learned early. With this being said and as silly as it might sound, I now know to start every project with the expectation that my plan won't always be the final result. When and if I decide to do the film opening, I'll keep this mind and make sure I'm open to different possibilities and outcomes.
